ChainCatcher 消息，CME Group 于周一正式上线两项多资产加密基准指数，分别为覆盖广泛市场的指数，以及一项专门衡量比特币和以太坊之外大型加密资产的“新兴加密指数”。其中，CME CF 新兴加密指数剔除了比特币和以太坊，追踪 BNB、XRP、SOL、HYPE、LINK、XLM、SUI、UNI、AVAX 和 AAVE 共 10 种资产；而 CME CF 加密市场指数则在上述 10 种资产基础上纳入比特币和以太坊。
两项指数均采用自由流通市值加权，每半年进行一次成分调整与再平衡。实时版本每秒计算一次、全天候运行；结算版本每日计算一次，并于伦敦、纽约和新加坡/香港时间下午 4 点发布。新兴指数的方法论要求成分资产具备托管条件、排除 meme 币，并依据总锁定价值相对总市值的比例设置协议使用率筛选门槛。在初始纳入时，尚未符合美国国家证券交易所加密 ETF 通用上市标准、但预计 30 天内可合规的资产，可暂以最高合计 10% 的权重进入指数。
该指数设计旨在具备可投资性，可用于基金被动复制及衍生品结算，延续了 CME 此前于 6 月推出纳斯达克 CME 加密指数期货的先例。CF Benchmarks 表示，新兴指数可被授权用于金融产品、投资基金或衍生品工具。
