Zhejiang Zheneng Electric Power's Attributable Profit Slides 57% in H1

Zhejiang Zheneng Electric Power's (SHA:600023) attributable profit slid 57% to 1.50 billion yuan in the first half from 3.51 billion yuan in the year-ago period, according to a Saturday filing with the Shanghai Stock Exchange.

Earnings per share at the thermal power generation company decreased to 0.11 yuan from 0.26 yuan in the prior-year period.

Operating revenue declined 8.2% year over year to 32.6 billion yuan from 35.5 billion yuan.

Company shares closed 1% lower on Monday.
