PowerChina's Attributable Profit Slides 30% in H1

Power Construction Corp. of China or PowerChina's (SHA:601669) attributable profit fell 30% to 3.82 billion yuan in the first half from 5.42 billion yuan in the year-ago period, according to a Saturday filing with the Shanghai Stock Exchange.

Earnings per share at the power construction company decreased to 0.2048 yuan from 0.2923 yuan in the prior-year period.

Operating revenue slipped 1.1% year over year to 289.7 billion yuan from 292.8 billion yuan.
