TPG (TPG) has filed a confidential application to list hospital assets worth nearly $8 billion in Malaysia, The Wall Street Journal reported Wednesday, citing people familiar with the matter.

The offering could generate up to $2.5 billion, the unnamed sources told the publication. The offering and listing are reportedly expected to occur in early January.

The firm is also likely to launch a sale process for the same hospital assets as part of a dual-track plan, with the process potentially commencing as early as October, according to the report.

TPG didn't immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
