据华尔街日报报道，美国证券交易委员会（SEC）已加强对所谓特殊目的载体（SPV）背后公司的审查。据知情人士透露，SEC审查员一直在要求注册投资顾问提供证据，证明其SPV确实拥有或持有其声称的私营公司股份。部分知情人士表示，在SpaceX备受瞩目的首次公开募股和Anthropic计划上市之前，此类基金加大了营销攻势，同时投资者投诉也有所增加，监管机构因此决定加强审查。据其中一位知情人士称，SEC目前的审查通常包括文件调取要求，部分审查还包含现场面谈环节。审查过程可能持续数周至一年不等。
