Hikari Tsushin (TYO:9435) plans to issue 30 billion yen in unsecured bonds, composed of 10 billion yen in four-year bonds and 20 billion yen in seven-year bonds, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Thursday.
The four-year bonds carry an annual coupon of 3.021%, while the seven-year bonds offer a higher coupon of 3.977%.
The proceeds from the issuance, scheduled for Sept. 9, will be used for the diversified holding company's bond redemption.
Nomura Securities, Daiwa Securities, Mizuho Securities and SMBC Nikko Securities will serve as underwriters while Mizuho Bank will act as trustee.
The bonds received A+ and A ratings from two rating agencies.
