消息面上，9月2日晚公布的美国8月ADP就业人数仅增加3.8万人，低于市场预期的4.7万人。就业数据的疲软，缓解了市场此前对美联储9月加息的悲观预期。与此同时，周三日元大幅走强，令外汇交易员重新高度警惕日本当局是否再次出手干预汇市。受此影响，美元与美国国债收益率从近期高位联袂回落，金价迎来久违反弹，现货黄金今早一度回到4400美元上方。
德意志银行最新研究显示，驱动本轮黄金涨势的系统性交易资金（CTA）买盘已接近尾声，而市场卖压亦濒临耗尽——这一组合意味着，即便美联储释放鹰派信号，贵金属价格也可能出人意料地保持强势，下一轮上涨的接力棒或将传至主动型裁量交易者手中。
