“我们确认，近期在一架A330飞机的水平尾翼上发现一起孤立的质量问题，”空客在一份通过电子邮件发出的声明中表示。“因此，我们对生产流程中的A330飞机展开检查，导致夏季期间的月度交付速度放缓。目前已查明问题根源，A330飞机交付已恢复。”
空客在6月和7月未交付任何A330飞机。预计下周公布的数据将显示，空客在8月共交付57架飞机，其中仅有一架A330。
上述知情人士表示，问题涉及一件工具遗留在飞机结构内部，该情况是在交付前检查过程中被发现的。
