PMV Pharmaceuticals (PMVP) said Monday that data from a phase 2 trial of rezatapopt showed a 46% overall response rate among 76 evaluable patients in the ovarian cancer group with a median duration of response of 10 months.

The phase 2 trial is evaluating rezatapopt as a monotherapy to treat patients with TP53 Y220C advanced solid tumors, the oncology company said.

PMV Pharmaceuticals also said a recent meeting with the US Food and Drug Administration backs a new drug application submission strategy for accelerated approval of rezatapopt for platinum-resistant/refractory ovarian cancer patients with a TP53 Y220C mutation, with a filing planned in Q1 2027.

Separately, the company announced Monday that it has commenced an underwritten public offering of common stock and accompanying warrants, as well as pre-funded warrants and accompanying warrants in lieu of common stock to certain investors.

The offering is subject to market and other conditions, and there is no assurance as to whether or when it may be completed or the actual size or terms of the offering, the company said.

The company's shares were down past 10% in after-hours activity.
