Teva Pharmaceutical Reports Positive Topline Data for Anti-IL-15 Drug in Celiac Disease

Teva Pharmaceutical's (TEVA) investigational anti-IL-15 antibody TEV '408 met the primary endpoint in an ongoing Phase 2a study in adults with celiac disease, the company said Wednesday.
The company said a single subcutaneous dose of TEV '408 demonstrated statistically significant and clinically meaningful prevention of gluten-induced intestinal damage versus placebo at week 8.
TEV '408 was well tolerated with no emerging safety signals, and additional analyses are underway, with further data expected to be presented at a future scientific meeting, Teva added.
Teva Pharmaceutical shares were up 4.8% in premarket activity.
