HealWELL AI secured a multi-year contract to deploy its proprietary artificial intelligence search and summarization software across Iowa's Health Information Exchange.
The Toronto-based healthcare artificial intelligence company said Tuesday that the agreement is with Converge Health Iowa to provide its Darwen-powered Smart Search and Smart Summary solutions.
The deployment will integrate the clinical AI search and summarization tolls across a statewide infrastructure that currently receives data from 115 hospitals, allowing healthcare providers and organizations statewide to extract and summarize patient records with document-level traceable provenance.
HealWELL didn't provide any specific financial information about the deal, but said that it represents a multi-million-dollar enterprise contract that will span a number of years and is expected to generate recurring revenue over its term that is substantial relative to the current run rate of the HealWELL AI & Data Sciences segment.
