ChainCatcher 消息，Solana 核心客户端开发团队 Anza 宣布，正将浮点运算从 Solana 核心协议中逐层移除。第一层 SIMD-0391 已在主网 Beta 的 epoch 1026 激活，将 Stake Program 及验证者客户端的预热和冷却逻辑中的浮点运算替换为定点运算。
第二层 SIMD-0607 已提出并进入审查，目标指向运行时本身，移除通胀奖励和租金计算路径中的浮点运算。Anza 表示，浮点运算在不同硬件、验证者客户端和编译器上可能产生不同的舍入结果，可能导致共识分歧和网络活跃性风险，两项改进通过标准化定点运算消除该风险。后续将继续处理其他路径中的浮点运算。
