【平陆运河通航后中国西南腹地和东盟的运输距离将缩短超560公里】在国务院新闻办公室今天上午举行的新闻发布会上，广西壮族自治区相关负责人介绍，平陆运河通航后，中国西南腹地和东盟之间的运输距离将缩短560公里以上，物流成本降低18%—30%。据介绍，平陆运河是国内也是世界通航等级最高的江海联通运河，将重构中国东盟经济地理版图。通航之后，两个大市场之间，不仅多了一条货物可以双向流动的通道，中国西南地区与东盟国家的资金、技术、人才、劳动力等要素也将进一步汇聚，催生新的跨境投资和产业合作项目。
