美国司法部9月2日宣布，已查封超过56万美元流向哈马斯的加密货币资金，并控制了该组织用于筹款和招募支持者的域名及服务器。联邦调查局特工接管了Alqassam.ps等网站及相关服务器，以拦截捐款并阻止进一步筹资。
根据司法部公布的五份宣誓书，其中三份分别于2025年3月25日、6月25日和10月10日签署，涉及对加密货币的搜查令，查封金额合计56万美元。另外两份于2026年7月29日和8月18日签署，涉及对网络基础设施的查封。
法庭文件显示，调查人员通过人力情报来源识别并追踪了哈马斯通过加密群聊及筹款网站推广的轮换加密钱包地址。据司法部当时通报，首次行动从一个关联系统中追回约20.14万美元，该自2024年10月以来已转移超过150万美元。相关地址被指为哈马斯军事分支卡桑旅代为控制。
联邦调查局还查封了该组织主网站Alqassam.ps的域名及服务器，从而能够拦截后续加密捐款。司法部表示，此次行动使调查部门掌握了数千名通过加密或传统支付方式联系哈马斯相关平台寻求捐款的人员信息。
