英国住宅建筑商Crest Nicholson于9月3日发布财务预警，预计截至10月的财年将录得约1000万英镑亏损，此前的预测为盈利500万至1000万英镑。公司同时将全年住宅交付量预期从1400至1500套下调至1350至1400套。受此影响，该公司股价当日早盘下跌12%。
公司表示，市场需求低于预期，夏季传统淡季交易持续疲软，可负担性限制及竞争性定价继续压制公开市场销售速率。此外，面向机构投资者的批量销售价格走低也对利润构成压力。
Crest Nicholson正与贷款方就契约条款修订进行磋商，并警告时间表可能出现推迟。不过，公司通过火灾修复补偿回收及土地处置实现了债务削减，预计年末净负债在7000万至9000万英镑之间，低于此前1亿至1.2亿英镑的预期。
与英国其他建筑商一样，Crest Nicholson持续受到伊朗战争影响。地缘冲突推高了能源和建筑成本，也使利率在更长时间内维持高位，进一步抑制了住房市场需求。
