0734 GMT - Yields on U.K. government bonds, or gilts, climb to multiyear highs due to inflation concerns as the U.S.-Iran war persists. Efforts to reopen the Strait of Hormuz have not succeeded, raising fears about prolonged oil supply disruptions and high energy costs. U.S. Federal Reserve Chairman Kevin Warsh also warned on Friday about inflation risks. Ten-year gilt yields rise to 5.224%, their highest level since 2008, LSEG data show. Thirty-year gilt yields rise to their highest since 1998 at 5.871%.
