智通财经APP获悉，Cerebras Systems (CBRS.US)周二宣布在芬兰米凯利建立一个新的 AI 数据中心，该数据中心是与 Compute Nordic Finland 合作开发的。该设施将分阶段扩建，最终达到 165 MW的合同IT容量，以提供高密度AI计算，目前50 MW的初始阶段建设已经开始。
该协议通过一系列服务订单正式达成，每个订单的合同期限为七年。Cerebras 在一份声明中表示，该协议为 Cerebras 提供了长期、专门建造的基础设施，以支持其人工智能计算平台日益增长的全球需求，同时为米凯利地区提供了一个长期的产业支柱，预计将带来可观的收入和持续的就业机会。
Compute Nordic Finland 首席执行官 Pyry Virrantaus 表示：“与 Cerebras 的合作并非对未来需求的投机性押注，而是一项有合同约束的分阶段建设，它准确地反映了当前市场对人工智能计算的需求量以及未来的发展方向。”
