9月1日，江苏连云港东海县一农户葛先生向百姓关注记者反映，7月13日，其妻子让孩子在集市上购买防虫药用于小麦防虫，妻子打开后发现是磷化铝并进行了使用，因不了解磷化铝遇水会产生剧毒磷化氢气体的特性，导致三名孩子及妻子中毒。其中，小女儿墨墨（化名）病情危重于7月18日抢救无效死亡，大女儿至今仍在医院接受治疗。事后警方介入，东海县公安局鉴定书显示墨墨系磷化氢中毒死亡。
农户葛先生称，大女儿治疗已花费三四十万元。涉事村庄村委会已证实此事，涉嫌贩售磷化铝的相关人员已被警方控制。据了解，磷化铝属高毒农药，农业农村部已于2025年3月1日起明确严禁向普通个人零散销售。
