特斯拉和SpaceX的首席执行官埃隆·马斯克很少回避对新技术做出大胆预测。他在北卡罗来纳州阿什维尔市举行的G20央行行长与财长峰会上的言论同样如此。
马斯克通过视频连线在峰会上表示：
“事实上，我们已经看到，并且还将继续看到人工智能带来显著的生产力提升，而机器人技术将带来生产力的飞跃式增长。”
马斯克补充道：
“为了让大家对这个规模有个直观感受，我认为AI可能会使全球经济规模增长20%到30%，这是我粗略的估计，这意味着每年大约能增加20万亿至30万亿美元。”
马斯克呼吁监管机构应当鼓励并拥抱AI等新技术，他主张这类技术应当“默认合法”，而不是“默认非法”。
他对机器人领域最为乐观，预测在未来十年内，全球人形机器人数量将达到10亿台。
“到明年年底前，AI将能够完成所有数字领域的工作，也就是所有不需要人工亲手去塑造实物的工作。”
