Micron Technology (MU) has proposed that it will distribute high performance bonuses this year, amid plans of a strike at its Taiwanese facility, Liberty Times reported Tuesday, according to a Google translation.
The bonuses are expected to be announced in October and until then, the company aims to maintain talks with team members, the report said, as per a Google translation.
The report further stated that strike plans have garnered support from as many as 80% of union members.
Micron Technology did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
