Max Healthcare to Infuse INR879 Million into Kalinga Hospital

Max Healthcare Institute's (NSE:MAXHEALTH, BOM:543220) board approved an additional investment of about 878.7 million Indian rupees in subsidiary Kalinga Hospital.

The investment will be made through subscription of Kalinga Hospital shares on a rights basis and is expected to be completed within 15 days, according to a Thursday filing on Indian bourses.

Shares of the company fell nearly 1% in recent trade.
