花旗集团分析师表示，印度强于预期的经济增长消除了货币政策正常化的一个关键障碍，为本财年下半年加息50-75个基点提供了空间。
花旗表示，10月份的央行会议仍有可能加息，其基准预期将在8月份通胀数据公布后得到确认。
花旗称，鉴于印度4月至6月季度实际GDP增长7.8%，将2027财年实际GDP增长预期上调至7.3%。
报告指出，印度4月至6月实际投资增长率为11.9%，是自2018年底以来除新冠疫情期间波动外最强劲的水平，这再次印证了企业资本支出势头改善的观点。
受不利的基数效应、厄尔尼诺现象以及去年政策刺激措施影响逐渐消退的影响，预计印度2027财年下半年经济增长将从上半年的7.6%放缓至7.1%。
