Nanjing King-Friend Biochemical Pharmaceutical (SHA:603707) subsidiary Emerge Bioscience obtained U.S. Food and Drug Administration approval to manufacture adalimumab injection at Kingfriend's manufacturing facility.
The biosimilar, sold under the brand YUSIMRY, was originally approved for nine indications including rheumatoid arthritis, Crohn's disease and psoriasis, according to a Wednesday filing with the Shanghai bourse.
Shares of the pharmaceutical company declined 5% in recent trade.
