消息面上，今早日股开盘下跌，日经225指数盘中一度跌近3%。受中东局势紧张油价走强影响，全球债券市场面临抛售潮，日本10年期国债收益率升破3%，创1996年以来最高水平；日本30年期国债收益率升至4.18%以上，创历史新高。
另外，日本央行行长植田和男称，迄今已加息五次, 需仔细审视累积影响; 将在下次政策会议上讨论适当政策, 对市场普遍预期的9月加息可能性"不予置评"。此前，美国财政部长贝森特与植田和男会面时，呼吁采取稳健的货币政策，以稳定通胀预期并避免汇率过度波动。这一表态强化了贝森特近期要求日本加息的立场。
