新西兰央行连续第二次会议上调关键利率，旨在转向刺激力度较小的政策立场，以遏制通胀压力。
该行货币政策委员会周三将官方现金利率上调0.25个百分点至2.75%，符合接受彭博调查的所有经济学家的预期。新西兰央行的最新预测显示，今年年底前可能还会再加息0.25个百分点。
“委员会认为，在支持经济增长和就业的同时，逐步退出货币刺激是合适的，以便让通胀回归2%的目标区间中点，”新西兰央行在会后声明中表示。“未来的决策将取决于委员会对中期通胀风险平衡的判断。”
利率决定公布后，新西兰元走低。新西兰元兑美元一度跌0.7%至0.5852。新西兰两年期国债收益率变动不大，报3.64%。
