BHP Group (ASX:BHP) reaffirmed its commitment to Western Australia Iron Ore (WAIO) amid media speculation over a potential partnership involving part of the business, according to an Australian bourse filing on Sept. 4 after market hours.
The company said it has a long history of partnerships and regularly explores options that could create long-term value for shareholders, while WAIO remains central to its portfolio.
