Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacifico Passenger Traffic Rises 0.5%

Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacifico (PAC) said Friday that total terminal passenger traffic rose 0.5% in August from a year earlier.

Traffic at the company's 12 Mexican airports increased 2.6%, led by a 10.5% rise at Guadalajara and a 1.2% increase at Tijuana, while traffic declined 10.3% at Puerto Vallarta and 6.2% at Los Cabos, according to the company.

At GAP's Jamaican airports, passenger traffic increased 2.8% at Kingston but fell 23.0% at Montego Bay, the company said.

Available seats increased 1.5% in August, while the load factor fell to 83.2% from 84% a year ago, the company said.
