8月28日，平塘110千伏通牙线74号铁塔旁，飞手在地面远程操控，一架载重达100公斤的绝缘无人机悬停于带电导线旁，通过绝缘吊绳将一组避雷器精准吊运至安装位置，顺利完成避雷器对位、紧固等全套工序，作业时全程线路保持带电运行。
这是南方电网贵州电网公司首次利用重载无人机开展110千伏带电安装避雷器作业。与以往相比，此次作业不仅实现了不停电检修，也把重载无人机应用从物资运输、配网作业场景，进一步拓展到110千伏输电线路设备带电安装。
“过去要背着设备翻山徒步、登塔作业，还得停电，整套流程最少需要耗费大半天。现在靠无人机空中作业，人员在地面就能完成任务，也不会对辖区群众用电造成影响。”贵州电网公司输电管理二所输电线路运行与检修中级作业员刘文斌感慨道。
据了解，此次作业为贵州电网公司高压输电线路带电检修提供了新路径，也进一步展示了重载无人机在山区电网运维中的应用潜力。
