智通财经APP注意到，澳元兑新西兰元升至 13 年来的新高，这主要受到两国央行分化的利率前景以及金属价格上涨的推动。
在澳洲联储助理行长萨拉·亨特表示央行可能不得不再次加息以遏制通胀压力后，澳元兑新西兰元上涨多达 0.4%，至 1.2332 新西兰元，创下自 2013 年 4 月以来的最高水平。
在此之前，新西兰联储理事会成员普拉萨纳·盖发表言论称，现金利率可能已经处于中性区间。
此番走势将澳元兑新西兰元今年的涨幅扩大至 6.2%，有望创下二十多年来的最佳年度表现，因为交易员押注两国的政策利率差距将进一步扩大。根据互换协议数据，市场预计澳洲联储今年将至少再加息一次，而新西兰联储可能要到明年 2 月才会有再次加息的机会。
此外，澳元还受到了其主要出口金属价格上涨的支撑，其中铁矿石价格反弹至每吨 100 美元以上，铜价更是创下历史新高。
悉尼 ITC Markets 的高级分析师肖恩·卡洛表示：“先前基于新西兰以农业为主的出口组合表现更佳而建仓、迟迟未平仓的澳元兑新西兰元空头，如今可能正在被澳洲联储的鹰派转向、新西兰联储缺乏再次加息紧迫性的态度以及铜价等大宗商品的强劲走势清洗出局。”
