布伦特原油开盘一度上扬0.8%，逼近每桶97美元关口;WTI原油则交投于92美元附近。美国方面表示，上周末对三艘伊朗油轮实施打击，击沉其中一艘，作为对伊朗弹道导弹袭击美国海军军舰的报复行动。
据报道，伊方最高安全官员回应称，未来数日内将在霍尔木兹海峡外划定新的禁航区，该区域自美军封锁线起始，延伸至波斯湾部分海域。伊朗同时宣称打击了三艘油轮，但该说法未获独立证实。
此前，在经历了短暂相对平静期后，美伊双方再度交火，推动上周原油价格大幅飙升。受中东冲突及俄伊战事持续影响，布伦特原油年内涨幅已接近60%，而柴油等成品油涨幅更为剧烈。
美国能源部长克里斯·赖特表示，美军在海湾地区的军事存在不会减弱，目前既包括封锁伊朗石油出口的封锁线，也包括为其他商船提供安全通行保障。赖特上周透露，每日有数百万桶原油经由霍尔木兹海峡运出。
