韩元兑美元汇率一度上涨1.3%，至1334.70，即2024年10月以来的高位。其相对强度指数升至2013年以来的最高水平，凸显出该货币的升值速度；相对强度指数是衡量动能的指标。
交易所数据显示，韩国股市周一的上涨主要由芯片制造商三星电子和SK海力士引领，外国投资者当日买入逾8，000亿韩元（约5.98亿美元）Kospi指数成份股，为资金连续第三个交易日流入。对韩国资产的持续需求可能进一步支撑韩元，但维持升值步伐的难度可能会增大。
“韩元年内累计升值约6%，涨势看起来越发紧绷，并可能促使韩国国内资产管理机构解除部分海外资产对冲头寸，或推动韩国散户重启海外股票投资，”纽约梅隆银行高级策略师Geoffrey Yu在报告中表示。
