特斯拉(Tesla)AI负责人埃卢斯瓦米(Ashok Elluswamy)表示，旗下自动驾驶的士(Robotaxi)全天候24小时服务即将落地。
这标志着该公司的Robotaxi试点业务从仅限白天，转型为随需求随时提供的出行服务，覆盖此前一直无法提供服务的深夜时段。
对于有网民希望特斯拉专为Robotaxi打造的Cybercab可以提供夜间出行服务，埃卢斯瓦米在社交平台回复称，待“v15”升级计划中下一阶段技术完成整合后，该功能大概下个月左右正式上线。
不过，埃卢斯瓦米并未透露具体涉及的技术细节，亦未有说明这项更新会优先落地专属车型Cybercab，抑或现有的Model Y车队，还是两者同步上线。
特斯拉周五(4日)晚起在得州首府奥斯汀提供有限度Cybercab载客服务。
目前，特斯拉付费Robotaxi服务覆盖奥斯汀、达拉斯、休斯顿、迈阿密、奥兰多等多个城市，每周7天运营，服务时段为早上6点至晚上10点。
