韩国经济日报援引不愿具名的政府消息人士报道，韩国已选定美国得克萨斯州一项约223亿美元燃气发电厂项目，作为其3500亿美元对美投资计划下的首个落地项目。
韩美双方敲定项目最终造价约223亿美元；美方最初要求投资250亿美元，韩国方面最初考量金额为198亿美元。
该项目选址于得克萨斯州恩西纳尔，总装机容量6.3吉瓦，用于满足人工智能数据中心的电力需求。项目先建设1.4吉瓦燃气轮机发电机组，后续再新增4.9吉瓦联合循环发电产能。
韩国政府计划于周一向国会汇报该项目，完成国会报备与审批流程后，于本月正式公布这一首个对美投资项目。
