Spark New Zealand (NZE:SPK, ASX:SPK) said its unit Spark Wholesale is launching a dedicated data centre interconnect service using Ciena's 1.6 terabit per second coherent technology, according to a Wednesday statement.
The company said it is also utilising Ciena's Navigator Network Control Suite for comprehensive visibility and management of its network, enabling automated capacity planning, service fulfillment and troubleshooting.
Spark's New Zealand shares rose 1% in recent Wednesday trade.
