数据显示，当天，10月交货的轻质原油期货价格最高升至每桶100.88美元，较前一日收盘价上涨5.03%。11月交货的布伦特原油期货价格最高升至每桶105.84美元，较前一日收盘价上涨4.57%。
据美国《华尔街日报》9日报道，有白宫高级官员向美国总统特朗普提出，美伊战事可能会持续至其总统任期结束。另据报道，多架美国军机在伊朗8日对约旦穆沃费格萨勒提空军基地的袭击中受损。
荷兰商业银行大宗商品策略师沃伦·派特森表示，虽然近几周霍尔木兹海峡石油运输量高于预期，但如果当前的冲突升级导致石油贸易流动再次中断，市场供应可能大幅收紧。
