“今天这50亩玉米，亩产估计1900斤往上，这给今年秋收开了个好头！”

9月8日上午，老城镇头堡社区南面的玉米田里，长星农机专业合作社（下称长星合作社）的收割机在大风中加紧收割50亩玉米试验田。今年长星合作社8000多亩玉米的收割作业也正式启动。

据了解，头堡社区这50亩玉米，是长星合作社与安徽一家种子公司的合作项目。“这里是我们合作的试验田，从今年夏天播种开始就倾注了很多心血。今天我们预备了两台收割机，一面收割一面过磅，到中午时分亩产数据就能统计出来。”郭长星说。

这块玉米田也吸引了周边几个镇子一些种田大户的注意。在董村镇承包了500多亩农田的李海涛早早赶到了地头。“一面给长星帮个忙，一面也来亲自瞅瞅这个品种产量如何。我这边也用了同一家公司的种子，还有一些种植过程中发现的问题跟长星商量一下。”李海涛说。

在老城镇郭贾村的长星合作社仓库，当天上午收获的玉米被直接拉到这里过磅。第一车玉米重14吨，开了个好头。待到午饭过后，试验田收割完毕，收获玉米48吨，这50亩试验田的平均亩产达到1920斤。

除了头堡社区这块试验田，今年长星合作社在老城镇栽种了8000多亩玉米。农历八月马上就到来，秋玉米的丰收也进入倒计时。根据往年经验，中秋节前可能会有持续降雨，长星合作社也提前准备了18台收割机，并腾出了8000吨的仓储库容，严阵以待。

“希望这块试验田能讨一个好彩头，盼着今年秋收平安丰收！”郭长星说。
