路透香港9月9日 - 香港证监会周三称，港交所的场外结算公司去年开始接纳债券通下持有的国债和政策性银行债券作为抵押品；截至今年8月底，海外投资者存入的人民币国债和政策性银行债，已占其总保证金抵押品的19%，这不仅盘活了资金，也扩展了中国债券的应用场景。
证监会市场监察部执行董事梁仲贤在港交所于上海举行的论坛上并表示，今年底，相关抵押品安排将扩展至期货和期权结算所，进一步提升人民币资产的全球吸引力。
对标国际主要市场，香港尚有空间提升非现金抵押品作为保证金的比例
港交所已将非现金抵押品作为保证金融通的收费下调一半到0.25%，稍后，期货和期权结算所接纳国债作抵押品，港交所将会考虑把收费再进一步降低
香港将会有更多的人民币外汇期货和人民币计价期货产品接连登场，进一步与债券通和互换通形成互补与协同
未来将推动政府债券发行的常态化，并向内地、东南亚及中东等市场推广，致力将亚洲区内债券发行人和全球投资者汇聚香港
香港正研究分阶段为债券回购引入中央对手方结算，并建构专属结算系统
探索提升资本效率的崭新路径，包括研究跨市场保证金安排
