Anthropic 研究员雅各布・考克森（Jacob Coxon）向媒体透露，出于对人工智能安全问题的担忧，他在股权即将归属的两个月前选择离职。
这一爆料令考克森此次在 AI 实验室引发全网热议的辞职事件受到更高关注，他提出的核心观点是 AI 技术有可能导致人类灭绝。
考克森周三接受采访时称：“抬高 Anthropic 的估值对我而言已经没有任何好处…… 我在股权归属前就离开了公司。”
他在 X 平台发布的离职帖阅读量现已超 1.15 亿次，帖文写道：“投身 AI 研发的从业者真心相信，这项技术有可能在本十年末夺走所有人的生命。这并非营销噱头。”
已有其他 AI 研究员（尤其是谷歌的研究员）出于安全考量辞职，但这些人都是工作多年后离职，且股权大概率已完成归属。
考克森表示，他仅在 Anthropic 任职四个月，而该公司员工需要满六个月，股权才会归属。他仍持有前雇主 OpenAI 的股权。
