意大利总理焦尔吉娅·梅洛尼在周六发表的采访中表示，预计今年意大利经济将增长1%，与欧元区整体水平持平。
梅洛尼政府曾在4月份预测2026年国内生产总值（GDP）将增长0.6%，但意大利预算监督机构UPB上个月发布了更为乐观的预测，预计增长率为0.9%。
梅洛尼说：“意大利经济表现稳健，上半年的数据表明2026年的增长率可能达到1%，这一水平与欧元区持平，甚至可能超过欧元区。”
意大利GDP在1月至3月期间环比增长0.3%，第二季度增长0.2%。
截至6月底，所谓的“既定增长率”（acquired growth）为0.8%，这意味着即使2026年剩余两个季度的GDP保持不变，全年增长率也将比2025年高出0.8%。
梅洛尼补充道：“诚然，意大利经济多年来一直难以实现持续稳定的增长。”她将能源成本和生产率低下列为导致这一状况的原因。
她说：“我们正致力于解决这些问题，但相关努力的成效要到中期才会显现。”
2025年，意大利经济增长了0.5%。
尽管欧盟持续注入数百亿欧元的新冠疫情复苏资金，但过去三年该国的经济增速始终未能超过1%。
