ChainCatcher 消息，印度最富有的马哈拉施特拉邦正在制定政策，将邦政府资产（包括电力输电基础设施）代币化，所得资金用于建设新的输电线路和储能设施。该邦首席部长首席经济顾问、马哈拉施特拉转型机构（MITRA）首席执行官 Praveen Pardeshi 在房地产代币化公司 RealX 与 MST Blockchain 于孟买世界贸易中心举办的邀请制活动“The Box Launch”上介绍了这一方案。
Pardeshi 表示，输电线路可以部分代币化，例如 40% 至 50%，持有代币的投资者可获得马哈拉施特拉输电公司（Maharashtra Transco）的部分收入，代币销售带来的新资金可用于建设更多输电线路和太阳能储能中心。他指出，该邦目前太阳能发电大量过剩，但缺乏电网容量将其输送至需要的地方；配电公司在高峰时段需支付每单位 16 至 18 卢比的高价，而电力交易所盈余时段价格仅为每单位 2 派萨。
他还以孟买 Express Towers 商业楼宇在 REIT 结构下代币化的案例说明房地产代币化的实践，并强调代币化不等于私有化，而是让更多公民参与公共资产创造的开发活动。此外，该邦正在起草《马哈拉施特拉数字与土地代币资产交易法》（DELTA Act），若通过将成为印度首个为基于区块链的房产代币化立法的邦。
