SKYX Platforms (SKYX) has signed a merger agreement with smart home technology company Deako, the company said Thursday.
Under the merger agreement, SKYX Platforms said it will issue 25 million shares as merger consideration, which it said equals 18.46% of the company.
Additionally, the company will pay Deako's lender $4 million at closing and issue an $8.5 million note, with $2.25 million payable in Q1 2027 and $6.25 million in Q4 2027, it said.
Deako is a smart home artificial intelligence platform and lighting company with over $26 million in 2025 revenue, SKYX Platforms said.
Deako founder and CEO Derek Richardson will continue to lead Deako following the transaction.
Shares of SKYX Platforms were over 7% higher in Thursday premarket activity.
