Optimi Health to Start Phase 2 Trial of Psilocybin-Assisted Therapy for Major Depressive Disorder in H1 2027

Optimi Health (OPTH) plans to start a phase 2 clinical trial to evaluate psilocybin-assisted therapy in individuals with major depressive disorder in H1 2027, the company said Thursday.

Health Canada has approved the trial, which targets to enroll up to 200 participants across several sites in Canada, according to the statement. The trial's primary endpoint is the change in Montgomery-Asberg Depression Rating Scale total score from baseline, Optimi Health said.
