韩国央行周四表示，鉴于通胀持续走高、经济稳健增长预计还将维持一段时间，该行将研判国内外形势，决定后续加息的时机与节奏。
韩国央行在货币政策报告中称：“强劲的经济增长，以及高于目标水平的通胀预计还将持续较长一段时间，因此需要在监测国内外环境变化的同时，确定进一步加息的时机与节奏。”
韩国央行已于7月、8月连续两次会议上将基准利率上调至3%，这是该行自2023年1月以来首次连续加息；上一轮连续加息始于2022年4月，累计连续七次上调利率。
在上月利率决议后的记者会上，韩国央行强调，受出口带动的经济增长以及投资推高居民收入，消费物价预计将持续高于2%的通胀目标，因此有必要采取“前瞻性”举措，防止通胀压力进一步加剧。
