该申请仍待 OCC 审批，OCC 公开数字资产牌照申请清单目前列有 11 项待审申请（2 月 23 日至 8 月 19 日间提交），尚未包含 Builders Bank。此前 OCC 已于 2025 年 12 月有条件批准五家国家信托申请，包括 Circle 的 First National Digital Currency Bank 与 Ripple，以及 BitGo、Fidelity Digital Assets 和 Paxos 的转换申请；Circle 于今年 7 月获得最终批准。
代表大型银行的美国银行政策研究所（BPI）此前曾反对一系列有限目的国家信托牌照申请，认为企业除非计划运营真正的信托公司，否则不应获得信托牌照，并警告勿将该牌照用作银行类产品的轻监管通道。Block 表示，Builders Bank 在获得所需监管批准前不会开始运营。
