ChainCatcher 消息，美国银行（U.S. Bank）宣布在 Stellar 网络发行美元支持的稳定币 USBDC，并完成其北美与欧洲实体之间的实时跨境支付试点。该试点测试了铸造、冻结、追回以及支付赎回等功能。
这笔交易在 Stellar 上结算，同时与银行的核心财务、风险、合规和运营系统保持连接。试点还验证了该行内部开发的数字资产平台，该平台用于发行和转移代币化资产，并将银行现有基础设施与区块链网络相连。
美国银行董事长兼首席执行官 Gunjan Kedia 表示，此次试点展示了其加速全球现金管理和资金流动的能力。该行未披露转移金额、USBDC 是否将向客户开放及代币储备构成等细节，流动性管理、抵押品流动性和跨境资金运营等用途仍在评估中。Stellar 网络上的现实世界资产余额增长迅速，富兰克林邓普顿和 DTCC 等机构也在该网络开展建设。
