ChainCatcher 消息，据 CoinDesk 报道，伦敦挑战者银行 Monument Bank 将 2.5 亿英镑（约 3.3 亿美元）英国零售银行存款代币化的项目推迟数月，原因是该行无法在英国找到符合金融行为监管局（FCA）标准、并能处理零知识隐私证明的本地加密托管服务商。

Monument Bank 创始人 Mintoo Bhandari 表示，该行原计划在隐私公链 Midnight 上代币化客户存款，本希望两个月前推出全球首批代币化存款，但现在预计还需两个月，即 11 月才能面向零售客户上线。为满足监管要求，该行将托管合作方的搜寻范围扩大到海外，最终找到一家获得 FCA 批准的加拿大托管机构。

Midnight 是由 Charles Hoskinson 资助的隐私优先 Layer 1 区块链项目，通过零知识证明将客户信息保留在 Monument 系统内，同时允许银行在链上证明合规性并向监管机构提供审计记录。Monument Bank 于今年 3 月宣布该项目，计划为可投资资产在 5 万至 500 万英镑之间的“大众富裕”客户提供代币化私募股权、结构化产品和自动化 Lombard 贷款。

Bhandari 称，客户存款仍将计息、由 Monument 全额背书，可按 1:1 兑换英镑，并受金融服务补偿计划（FSCS）保护，每人或每家公司限额 12 万英镑。
