消息面上，据报道，SK海力士正与英特尔洽谈在美国生产内存芯片，潜在方案包括租用英特尔俄亥俄州芯片厂部分产能，或与英特尔及大型云计算企业成立合资企业。相关谈判仍处于探索阶段，尚未作出决定。
报道指，若涉及DRAM或高带宽内存（HBM）等先进内存技术，可能面临韩国政府审查。SK海力士表示，正在研究包括新增生产基地在内的多种方案，但目前尚未确定具体事项。英特尔则表示将继续投资俄亥俄州厂区建设。
