Singapore Airlines' Passenger Traffic Rises 1.5% in August

Singapore Airlines' (SGX:C6L) group passenger traffic rose 1.5% year on year in August, according to a Tuesday filing on the Singapore Exchange.
Passenger capacity increased 3.5%, while group passenger load factor came in at 86.4%.
Cargo loads rose 2.8% year on year, while cargo capacity fell 0.7%, lifting the cargo load factor to 57.2%.
As of Aug. 31, the group's passenger network covered 136 destinations across 35 countries and territories, while its cargo network spanned 139 destinations across 36 countries and territories.
