ChainCatcher 消息，据《金融时报》调查，波兰国营能源公司 Orlen 曾向迪拜贸易商 Hannon International 预付 2.3 亿美元，用于购买约 600 万桶委内瑞拉原油，但最终仅收到约 50 万桶燃料油。交易期间，部分资金被兑换为 USDT，并通过中间人交付给委内瑞拉方面。
Hannon 称，至少 1.32 亿美元 USDT 交给两名中间人后，两名中间人失联。计入油轮租赁、法律费用等支出后，波兰政府估计 Orlen 总损失至少达 4.24 亿美元。目前 Orlen 正通过仲裁追讨预付款。
