9月16日，科技媒体 AppleInsider 今天（9 月 16 日）发布博文，报道称 2019 款 21.5 英寸 iMac 已被列入“过时”（vintage）名单，这也是苹果最后一款搭载英特尔处理器的 21.5 英寸 iMac。
IT之家援引苹果官方定义，过时产品是指 Apple 停止发售之日起已超过 5 年但未满 7 年的产品。按苹果规定，该机型将在 2028 年彻底进入“停产”（Discontinued / Obsolete）行列，也就是停止发售之日起已超过 7 年的产品。
2019 款 21.5 英寸 iMac 采用第八代英特尔处理器与全新 AMD Radeon 显卡，机身沿用苹果自 2012 年起使用的纤薄设计。系统支持方面，这款机型大概率将永久停留在 macOS Sequoia 系统版本。
